Own server(s)

I noticed that our servers aren't always running because of the fact that they are run from private computers.
Maybe it is an idea that we rent a server in a serverpark to have one or two server(s) up and running 24/7.

A server in a server park costs around 10 euros a month and I'm willing to pay a part of this.
Who else would as well? And how much? And is this even a proper idea?

I would like to knkow how you think about this matter.

nice idea i would be in it for pay...but, do u know how/where to rent and how to configure it?

I dunno whether you have heard from the Hanze clan, but they had some rented servers and I'm sure they can and will help us out when we ask it kind enough .

There is a script that makes getting admin kicks/bans/everything with admin a hell of a lot easier.
I will search for it and maybe you can fill in the blanks for the server hoster etc, Raffael?

I tried filling it in myself, but I don't kow the exact server host address, it is prolly your personal computer IP, you should be able to fill it in.

hm guess i have to update that script every day cause of the IP which changes...

Does it -.- , why, because you have a dynamic IP, or is it because you stop the server every day..?

normally the ip changes nearly every day except i would run my PC 24/... in fact i switch down my pc every day... but copy and paste my ip doesn't take that much time

Are you sure you filled in all the correct ip addresses is the only yhing I can think..

i tried my IP adress from wieistmeineip.de and also the local adress (192.168....)


U maybe can have a look at the swcript and explain where i have to write what ... i'm also not sure about config/autoexec.cfg and config/drakas_adminclaim.cfg.
do i have to copy that in both .cfg's ?
